No. The J1772 adapter is strictly for AC charging (Destination Chargers, Wall Connectors). Use the included Vortex Plus for Supercharging.

Yes. The Vortex adapter is for CCS1 EVs that have been officially granted access to the Tesla Supercharging network by their manufacturer (e.g., Ford, Rivian, GM).

Is it safe to charge at 80 Amps?

Absolutely. Our adapter is UL 2252 certified and uses 5 AWG wiring specifically designed to handle high-current loads without overheating.

Are these safety certified?
