I can’t believe the high reviews on these! I can’t believe I actually bought into the reviews, I feel scammed by the reviews. These are worse then a really low quality pair of underwear so if you think like I did and think wow so many in this multipack for a Buck each with high reviews? You will be mistaken. Under no circumstances do these shorts deserve any more than 3 stars at the very best and wow that’s pushing it!
You can see by my photos that you can see through even the red color and that is tough to do! What’s worse is that the cream color you can see through two layers of the material.
This is not a good value for the money. Each pair is worth maybe ten cents tops but in reality they are not even wearable unless you like your kid walking around showing everything!
The material is 95% modal and 5% spandex. These materials though 100% synthetic, is typically a strong synthetic fiber that normally is a decent knit non see through / opaque and usually is similar to cotton in texture. These shorts are the exception to the rule for sure they are bad so so so so bad. Extra extra poor low quality. Feels and looks like a very cheap stretchy polyester.
By comparison, an average quality pair of bike / cartwheel shorts (Targets Cat & Jack or The children’s Place) feel and look like a super high end luxury label line of children’s clothes up against this junk. So take the average quality and split that in half and then look deep into the bottom of the bin at the deep discount store where you will find These for 50 cents pick them up and throw them back in the bin because they are so bad your not going to buy them with the change you found in your couch cushions.
So with an average (average is the key word here) quality I can buy comfy sustainable clothing, cotton poly stretch blend that will last up to 3 pass downs or 3 seasons without wearing out through at-least a hundred washes (assume laundry is only once per week) before throwing them away and sometimes so sustainable the kids just grow out of them any can STILL be given away. The average quality runs $2 a pair during the summer sale and clearance out for $1 (sometimes 50 cents during end of season). So in terms of value, I am saving money by returning this junk and buying the same quantity and getting 3 seasons+ out of them! That over a $30 savings!
Again, my kid can’t even wear these because they are completely see through! They aren’t wearable. That’s the bottom line so regardless of the volume of bulk quantity, does it really matter if it’s not useable?
2 stars because it didn’t come with any holes in them.
I absolutely do not recommend these shorts.
