Bike was delivered yesterday, upon assembly one of the axle boats was completely stripped, so I had to go to Ace Hardware and buy a similar bolt. There were literally only 2 bolts that needed to be installed and one of them was completely useless. After putting it together, my son got a total of two hour ride time before the factory axle bolt came loose (the Ace Hardware bolt held better), as well as a screw holding the kickstand foot/cover/boot came off and both parts were lost. The seat cover screws were also loose, so we lost one of those as well. In addition, the brake handles come fully tightened (from the factory) but are still loose on the handlebars One of them just spins, and I have no way to tighten them because they are fully tightened. Overall, it didn’t take much time to put this bike together, but I’ve spent twice the time tightening and re-tightening factory set screws. I’m disappointed that a $1300 E bike comes with non-secured factory installed bolts and screws!!! Macfox needs to do better with their factory quality control and send me my replacement bolt and kickstand boot!!!!
What a disappointment!
Only giving two stars because my son loves riding it, but as a parent, it’s been a total nightmare and we’ve only had it for two days!
