These thin-sole hiking/climbing shoes for kids are absolutely incredible! Our 5 year old grandson loves them, he says they are comfortable, easy to put on, the drawstring keeps them tight and he is excited to have an actual pair of hiking/rock climbing shoes like the grown ups! So he might be a little biased 😂 Seriously. These kids' shoes are on par with adult hiking/climbing shoes right down to the soft compound the soles are made from to the tread pattern and overall design. The longevity of these shoes will not be as long as normal tennis shoes. However, the material used certainly appears to be high quality with good stitching in all the right places to give strength without adding extra weight. We are certain he will outgrow these shoes before they wear out or fail, even wearing them as regular play shoes, not just for hiking/climbing. The styling and colors are also reflective of adult hiking/climbing shoes. So, if you are looking for lightweight, thin-sole hiking/climbing shoes for kids, these are great for indoor rock walls or outdoor real-world climbing. We highly recommend these for kids and fully intend on purchasing another pair once he outgrows this pair. Definitely a true 5 star rating, especially for the cost!

I got these for my granddaughter because we live in the PNW and like to hike . They are amazing and she actually approves ! Plus she has a wide foot and it’s so hard finding her shoes that actually fit and these fit perfect ( a little room to grow and thick socks )

My son is very active outdoors. Less than a month in and the shoe lace brackets at the top tore off. Then the soles for the bottom of the shoe came completely apart from the shoe. They are by far the worst shoes I have purchased.

What a great looking pair of shoes! My son loves them. They fit him great and he said they were comfortable. The colors are neat together and makes for an attractive shoe. The inside sole has a memory foam insole. The laces are a Bungie cord style and you pull the cord to tighten the laces. The tread on them looks good. They are also light weight. My only complaint is the sole is kinda thin and I imagine that stepped on rocks would be felt by the wearer.

These look nice, and are as pictured. They are starting to fall apart, but my child is very hard on his shoes. The strings to tighten them dont hold up very well, but again, my child is hard on shoes and might have accelerated them failing.
