These might be the best shoe out there. The sizing guide worked perfectly. They’re super styling and my son loves them!

I have been searching for a pair is shoes to hike in. I have small but wide feet and need a wide toe box. These are so comfortable and worked great on my day hike today.

I've worn whitin shoes and really enjoyed them. I decided to buy these for my son who is 6. So far so good. They fit well and he says they are very comfortable. The only issue is they are a little difficult for him to out in by himself. He typically wears sketchers, but they always fall apart really quick. I'm hoping these will hold up better for him.

To be clear I love Whitin shoes. I’ve bought my toddler 5 different pairs and my older son and I have a pair as well.

However, this style is NOT durable. I loved the look so I ordered a pair for each of my sons, and the strings on them broke within a month for both pairs. It’s a shame, they usually do a wonderful job.

So, I recommend the brand, but get a different style from this one.

Great shoes with lots of room for wide feet. I keep these for my wild, outdoor loving, boy. No name brand can keep up. They last so much longer than most shoes. He usually wears out a pair before he can outgrow them but not these!

My son is in size 1.5 so I ordered a size 2 to have room to grow. These are the same exact size as his other size 1 shoes.

Nice but tough to get on

I switched from the Kabua barefoot sneakers to these ones for my 5 year old this year. I love the Kabuas, but didn’t want to have to buy two pairs of shoes. I just wanted one pair that worked for everything and looked a little better with his nicer outfits rather than the hiking shoe type of look that the Kabua ones have.

These shoes are great and look good with everything. They have a wide toe box, zero drop, and thin, flexible soles. My only complaint is that he has a hard time getting them on by himself and he is the type of child that gets easily frustrated (he’s 5). It has something to do with the velcro straps. When he undoes the velcro to try to loosen up the tongue and fit his foot in, the velcro catches on the slot and makes it hard to loosen them. Idk if it’s that the velcro is too thick, or the slot is too small, or just the placement of it makes it catch on the slot, or what. I tried to get a picture showing the point where they catch. It just doesn’t allow enough extra room for him to squeeze his foot in without the tongue getting shoved into the shoe. For that reason alone, I think I might just keep these for a nicer occasion shoe, and purchase another pair of the Kabuas as his everyday, play shoe.
