I have been going through my closet getting rid of clothes and realized I had a ton of dresses I never actually wore. So I’ve been trying to be more intentional and find ones I know I’ll actually reach for. I’ve really been wanting more pieces that are easy to throw on but still look put together, and when I saw this one by ForeFair, it looked like exactly that kind of dress.
Immediately I was so impressed with this dress. I was not expecting it to be this great of quality. It feels well made and not cheap at all. The material is super soft and double layered, which makes it feel thicker and more put together. If you wear darker undergarments it is very slightly see through, but not enough to be an issue. The design of it is super flattering. It’s a bodycon style, but it doesn’t feel too tight or restrictive. It hugs your curves and really accentuates your body in a flattering way. The ruching at the front around the waist gives a nice slimming effect, which I love. The square neckline is really pretty and the short sleeves make it feel easy to wear.
For reference I am 5’6” weighing 146lbs with a 26 inch waist. I ordered my normal size medium and it fits perfectly. It has a nice stretch to it, so it’s really comfortable while still giving that fitted look. The length hits that perfect mini dress range. It’s short and cute, but not so short that I feel like one wrong move and everything is showing. It’s also just really comfortable. you are able to move freely and sit down in it without ever feeling restricted.
This is definitely one of those effortless pieces you can throw on and instantly look put together. It works for everyday wear with some sandals or tennis shoes, but can also easily be dressed up with jewelry and heels for a night out or a nice dinner. And it works good for layering with a jean jacket or cardigan too. Honestly, the perfect dress for spring and summer.
At the current price of $36.99 (as of 4/4/26), I think this is an excellent value worth every penny. Overall, it’s soft, flattering, comfortable, and so easy to wear. This instantly became one of my favorite dresses I own. It requires no effort to look good and can be styled many ways. Can’t say enough good things about it. Highly recommend.
