*Supports up to 8 custom zones when set up in the Aqara Home app. With the Aqara Home App connected to the existing Thread network, these zones can be exposed to supported third-party even without an Aqara Hub. *Direct connection to a third-party Matter ecosystem without Aqara Home setup does not support custom zones.

Choose from 3 sensitivity levels to match different spaces. Higher sensitivity suits quiet or long-stay areas, while lower sensitivity helps reduce false presence triggers in more active environments.

Absence Confirmation Period

Adjust the absence confirmation period to balance static hold accuracy and absence detection speed. Shorter period trigger absence alerts faster; longer ones make static detection more stable.

Detects room boundaries and common interference sources to suggest zone layouts users can confirm or manually adjust, making setup faster and easier.

When using a third-party Thread Border Router, you can configure custom zones, sensitivity, and absence delay in the Aqara Home app (without an Aqara hub) Once setup is complete, sync 1 whole-area sensor, up to eight custom zone occupancy sensors, and 1 light sensor directly to your preferred Matter platform. (*For third-party Matter setup, a pre-configured Thread Border Router is required, availability may vary by device or platform. For Zigbee, an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub like M3/M200/M100 is required.)
