So I already own 2 of these shirts in black and brown. I liked them a lot, but I’ve lost weight since then so I reordered the black, brown, and beige in a size down. The first shirts I bought back in December I think. These shirts, despite the same design, have different materials. These newer shirts say they are made of nylon and Lycra, which would make you think they would be higher quality than the first ones which are polyester and spandex. These newer ones are thinner though. Like, you can see through them when held up to the light. Not as much a problem with dark colors, but the beige is a tad see through. This is not a problem with the original shirts I received which are very opaque.
Also, the material is not just thinner, but it’s more coarse. It’s not the same “buttery soft” material as the first shirts. I don’t hate it, and if the shirts were thicker I might keep them. But they also seem very big in the arms, despite me sizing down. Like, they aren’t as stretchy as “nylon and Lycra” would make you think. The material isn’t as matte as the first shirts either, they have a slight sheen. Overall, the material feels and looks cheaper imo. So if the arms were more fitted, material was thicker and more matte, I would keep them. A bit disappointed in this change while the pictures on Amazon don’t reflect this change. The pictures on Amazon look like my first order of shirts, but not this second order. The design, however, like with seam placement and whatnot is the same.
