adidas Unisex-Kids Lite Racer Adapt 8.0 Big kids size 3 35 21.5
This is for one order of a pair of Lite Racer Adapt 8.0 sneakers, made by adidas, this shoe offers a wide cloudfoam sole for stability and an elastic opening with pull on loops instead of tongue and tie laces.
The look matches the photos, the colors are a tidy black, crisp white and shades of grey, with a combination of textiles and a raised rubber adidas logo on each shoe, this a classy looking sneaker, suitable for shopping or the gym.
I have been counting the days since I placed my order, I even ran to meet the mailman, and I was not disappointed, they arrived in the official box with all tags attached.
The shoe right out of the box is a sharp looking black, white and grey with soft knit construction of the upper, my feet slipped right in, there are no laces to tie or tongue to wrangle with, it is a nice feel for the top of my foot. Just a loop at the front and back for fingers to pull on the shoe.
For someone with high arches, I am finding this is a very well constructed design, the toe box is a breathable mesh knit with a stiff support around the toe, average width, not narrow.
My leg is held firmly in place by the inner ankle and heel foam, and the supportive arch is part of the construction of the cloudfoam sole, with the insoles being regular pads.
All the support is built into the shoe, so no slipping and sliding on thick foam inner pads, this is better with the foam soles to take the shock from hard or rocky surfaces and still be pliable and comfortable.
I walked around the house all day in these, up and down stairs, and did not experience any leg or back pain at the end of it. I do wear other brands of this level, so I am doing a like to like comparison. These are winning…
Today I did a quick jog on concrete, they have good toe flex and heel bounce, even being low profile, without laces, the sneakers stayed in place and didn’t make my feet overly hot. The tread is not showing any signs of de-lamination.
I am sure they could be suitable for off road, but right now, I like them too much, they are just too cute.
The only teeny tiny flaw, is the ribbon used for pulling on, does catch fluff. Not a real problem, but they caught fibers from my white fluffy blanket, a lint brush removed them.
I have given these a 5 for Appearance, Comfort, Quality, Ease of Use and Exceeded my Expectations.
I can see how this style can benefit growing and active kids, but my recommendation is for older people, like myself, who do not want to mess with laces and are looking for a secure, comfortable fit that looks nice.
