Construction-wise, the tunic in the ''Floral White'—print is well-made (as were all the tops I ordered over a period of days) with perfectly set-in sleeves and no puckers at the neckline, seams, & hem. So I'd be thrilled with this top if the roses in this print were like I see on my screen—rather than the screaming orange & yellow roses that arrived—because the Medium fit as Amazon recommended is perfect and it's very flattering & comfortable, too, thanks to the fabric's spandex.
I have more roundness in the back of my torso than the front which works with this top which hangs straight down in both areas. The gathering, starting a few inches in from the sides where the front attaches to the yoke, achieves the floaty-ness, but because the fabric is so soft there's no unwanted fullness at that seam, just soft, flat gathers. I'll be purchasing another top or two in a different print, so I have no trouble recommending it as long as you realize the roses in full bloom aren't subtle.
Update 2023-08-07: For my purchase #2 the flower colors in the print described as 'Large Leaf Pink Flower' are—as with purchase #1, Floral White'—bold & garishly bright. There's no soft pink, tans, or beiges at all. So if you are looking for a print with pastels you will be as disappointed as I am with the 'Large Leaf Pink Flower' print. I may have to resort to solely black & white or navy & white prints for this particular offering.
Update_2023-08-20: it seemed the only really safe colors to order for these tops—if you don't want something screamingly loud—are the black & white and the navy & white comb prints because ALL of the prints are much more vivid in hand that depicted on the screen. I kept my 1st choice, the roses on the white background because it's more prevalent white background helps tone down the orange & yellow roses. I also kept the 'Carved' White & Black top & the top with the navy & white paisley print described as Sun Flower.
The colors were again garish on the Gypsophila pink flowers on Black top which earned that top a trip back to Amazon as were the flowers on the top with the Wine background which accompanied it on its return journey. Fortunately, the flowers on the lighter blue print called Dandelion are inoffensive black & white—but no gray to pair with my gray heather skinny pants—and while the blue is brighter than on the screen it's still acceptable to my conservative taste.
As for laundering them, since the tops arrived over a period of days I hand-washed on arrival those I intended to keep and hung them as advised to drip dry. Because I used wide-shoulder area shaped plastic hangers recommended for drying sweaters there was no stretching or distortion there. And squeezing the water out of them rather than wringing them kept the wrinkling—that rayon is prone to—at a minimum. Hand-washing in cool water will likely preserve their colors & brightness over time also since rayon tends to bleed.
So these tops are keepers but I awarded them only 4 stars because 'what you see isn't what you get' color-wise which necessitates bothering someone to return them for me & it stretched the whole purchasing process out to two weeks as I gambled on which prints wouldn't be garish.
