I am so glad I got this line snipper the tool itself is just awesome for all my quick tasks like cutting, tying, flying, and changing lines. It has a really smooth and nice action, a sharp cutting edge, and feels like a well-made tool overall. It's actually the best line snipper I have ever used. I love that it’s small, so I can easily get it into tight spaces, and it’s spring-loaded.
However, I do have one complaint, and it's all about the retractable cord. I really feel it should be a little longer. Even more important, though, is the cord material itself. While I acknowledge the retractable cord is tightly wound, to me, it doesn't feel like much more than heavy-duty string. I personally wouldn't trust it on a regular basis. The retraction mechanism feels nice, but I can't really gauge the actual quality since it's internal.
