This is a really beautiful necklace. I have gotten so many compliments. I have not noticed any fading, discoloration or tarnishing but I’ve only had it for about a week. I do love it.

I should start off by saying that this type and size of jewelry is not my style. The description says “chunky” but I wasn’t expecting it to be as large as it was. The faux pearls look like faux pearls and the large thick chain definitely looks like costume jewelry. This could maybe be worn as a statement piece with no other jewelry or, as above, a costume piece. There is a very narrow set of events that this could be worn to as it is so large. I have had it out of the packaging for weeks now and, even without being worn, it has started to tarnish. The part that has the faux pearls on it does not bend, it is all one piece, and it doesn’t feel very well put together, so I’m afraid that it will snap with the slightest accidental bend. I don’t recommend this necklace and I won’t be wearing it. I have it two stars because it did come in one piece and was as described.
